Turning to the Love/Connection Within

Greetings, I am Sharon Wilson. I have been on a journey all my life. For about the last 20 years I have been seeking a deeper connection. We have many names for what that connection is. Some call it God, while others use Yahweh, Allah, Love, Source, Higher Power, The Universe, Krishna, Chi or many other names. What name you use is not what matters. It is what resonates with your heart that matters. Every day I learn more about what that means to me. I use to search for God out there somewhere up above. I always felt like there was something more. I could not find what I was seeking out there. What I have found is a deep presence that is within. Once I turned inward to seek the connection I found it there within my heart waiting for me. It is always there. The God of heaven, the Source energy, the Higher Power, Allah… is found within. Looking outside ourselves will never fulfill what we or I are truly seeking. We will only satisfy the hunger by turning within and finding the Love/God/Source within us. We contain all that is. We are the Light and the Love. Once I was able to find that presence within myself, my whole world changed. I no longer had to seek to fill the void I was feeling from other people or things. Turning to the Love within my heart space is what fills that void or longing I carried. I am enough! This changed my relationships. I no longer need others to fill the void/lack of connection. I can enjoy/love others for just who they are. I choose to live a life that feels good to me the best that I can in each moment.
